Fair By Design is pleased to announce a two year partnership with Trust for London.
Trust for London is an independent charitable foundation that aims to tackle poverty and inequality in London. It does this by: funding voluntary and charity groups – currently Trust for London make grants totalling around £10 million a year and at any one time is supporting up to 300 organisations; funding independent research; and providing knowledge and expertise on London’s social issues to policymakers and journalists.
Martin Coppack, Director of Fair By Design said:
“Fair By Design is excited to partner with Trust For London, which has a long history of using its expertise and funding to reduce poverty and inequality in the capital. We look forward to working with them to tackle the root causes of the poverty premium in London and across the UK.”
Manny Hothi, Director of Policy at Trust for London, said:
“Too many Londoners struggle with the high cost of living in the capital. For those on low incomes, having to pay more for goods and services is an unfair and avoidable weight that helps keep them anchored in poverty. Fair by Design is working on sustainable, practical solutions to the poverty premium and we are delighted to be working with them.”
