Fair By Design’s Head of Corporate Engagement, Carl Packman, is quoted in a Guardian article on UK Finance research that found banks have granted almost 1.5m payment holidays to consumers struggling to repay their credit cards and personal loans during the coronavirus pandemic.
Although this is only 2% of consumers at the moment, UK Finance have said the number was rapidly rising – growing by more than a quarter from the start of May, leading Carl to suggest support packages may need to be extended.
